EVENT: PARK(ing) Day

In cities around the globe today, artists, activists and citizens will temporarily transform metered parking spaces into public parks and other social spaces, as part of an annual event called "PARK(ing) Day."

SEPT.18: Tornado Rider appears in Somerville, MA at the UCG. See their site for more details. I saw this group perform in Phoenix, AZ last November and they were the definition of entertaining. Exciting music, exciting performance, reserve tickets early.
SEPT.19: Family SculptureFest at the DeCordova! See their site for more details. The weather looks good, the park is gorgeous, and there will be sand-sculpting.

EVENT: TUESDAY SEPTEMBER 7th
This TUESDAY (September 7, 2010) there will be an opening reception at the Cambridge Arts Council of 244 Broadway in Cambridge for the two-artist show,
"Of, By, and For: New Work by Daniel Peltz and Paul Notzold."
Over the last two weeks, I have had the good fortune to help work on Peltz's project as a wall preparer, resource researcher, and parking-excuse transcriber! Little Gribbles.
The tiny metal nibs I have been using occasionally dig up little scrolls of plastic from
