Putting Video Online.

Last year I made a few short documentation videos using iMovie. In an effort to publish them on the internet, I found a useful how-to on creating a YouTube video from this blog:

From My Experience

While I am questioning my decision to add yet more less-than-amazing videos to the world of youtube, at least this site helped me with an unquestionable starting-point.

Wire-bound hindges.

While working on a wire-bound construction for a traveling cube, a reminder for the Garage Annex School's workshop calender was sent to my email. The Garage Annex School (GAS) is a book arts resource founded in 1990 by Daniel Kelm. Kelm is a binder who has developed a lovely method of wire-binding as a means for creating non-traditional book formats. I came in contact with Kelm's work when Smith College hosted the exhibit Poetic Science as part of the Museums 10 BookMarks celebration. On the Poetic Science website there are many images, and a few short films, showing his alchemical methods and talented craftsmanship. Though I cannot attend the August workshop on wire-binding, I will be using this site for trouble-shooting visual hints.

LED Cube.

Here is one of many found out on the web ...

They are not marketing as a "Mood Cube" like I found earlier last year, but it is still very much a commodity cube!

iRobot for Valentine's Day?

This shows the special extra features which come with the Valentine's Day Special. Can't say the technical things are appealing, but that empty box sure looks nice!
